CathSoc Trip to Tynemouth

It's a day out to the coast! Come along and enjoy the sea air, visit the famous market, have lunvh together and enjoy some fun on the sand :) It's open to everyone and you have to pay for your own metro ticket and lunch, BUT... paid up NCL CathSoc members get a discount!!

It's the first of our monthly Faith+Food events of the year! We meet together in the Chaplaincy room at St Andrew's, share a hot meal (£1 donation) and look at a particular topic relating to our faith. It ends at 9.15pm. No booking necessary, just come along. Further details on the topic soon.
Afternoon Film: 'ROMERO'
SUNDAY 14th OCTOBER 2pm
On this date, Blessed Óscar Romero, the assassinated Archbishop of San Salvador (1980), will be canonized a Saint by His Holiness Pope Francis. In recognition of this wonderful event, we are showing the film 'Romero' (1989), which is a biopic of his life. We might have a little discussion afterwards and you are welcome ot bring your friends along too.
ICHTHYS IXΘYΣ <><
WEDNESDAYS 5.30pmICHTHYS (Greek for Fish) is a time to explore further different aspects of our faith, theology and spirituality, particularly relating to today's world. You can come along to any and it doesn't matter if you dip in and out. Ichthys will start at 5.30pm and last 45 minutesand then we'll cook and share a hot meal together.
We'll be starting Ichthys on 17th October and ask the question, 'Is God a He?'
